Caramel M&Ms Cupcakes

I had been craving cupcakes for about a week. Doodle found this recipe on Facebook and tagged me in it and since it contains Caramel M&Ms I decided that I must make them. They are fabulous! I didn't do the mini cupcakes like it calls for in the recipe. If I'm gonna eat a cupcake, it's gonna be a big one! They are super easy to make and cute! The original recipe was found on Buzzfeed and I think it's from M&Ms but I'm not sure. Either way, it's not my recipe, but it's good!

Cake:
1 box white cake
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water

Frosting:
1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
2 T caramel sauce
2-3 T milk
1/4 t cinnamon

1 cup M&Ms caramel candies

Preheat oven to 325. Line your muffin tins with liners, whether mini or regular. Make cake batter according to directions with ingredients. I just dumped them all in and mixed. Mix well. Fill liners 2/3 full and bake 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely. To  make frosting, beat butter till fluffy with hand mixer. Slowly add powdered sugar until completely incorporated. Add caramel sauce and mix. Add milk 1 T at a time until frosting consistency. Take wooden spoon and poke a hole in the center of your cupcakes. Fill hole with caramel sauce and 1 M&M.

Frost. Top with another M&M. Enjoy!!
