Model Rockets!

**I received product in return for my 100% honest review. All opinions are my own. Please use with adult supervision**

I have a 12 year old boy. If you do not have a 12 year old boy, you probably don't know how hard it is to get him to do something that doesn't involve a phone or video game.
When I was approached to try these rockets, I was so excited! I knew that this would get his interest and be something for him and Dad to do.
(They refused to smile. They really did have fun though!)

And I was right! They had so much fun with these suckers! The one pictured above is the Sonic Boom and was our favorite. It went so high! Hunny estimates that this one went around 125 feet or so in the air! Assembly was very simple. You have the air pump on one end connected to the launch pad by plastic tubes that very easily click together. You pump it about 15-18 times and then push a button for lift off! We're not sure what happened with ours, but our rocket broke on the last lift off; we think from the air pressure. It cracked up one side. We are going to see if duct tape will fix it. But, it lasted about 10 launches before that happened.
The Whirlwind was just as easy to assemble and was just as fun to use! Same idea as the Sonic Boom, pump on one end, launch on the other. You pump it 15-18 times and push the button. But, with this one, there are helicopter blades on each side. It is so fun to watch come down! This didn't go quite as high as the Sonic Boom, but I, especially, liked watching the helicopter action. This one had a ring that the helicopter blades sit in prior to launch, which was the only difference in the launching pads. Again, very easy to assemble and easy to play with.

Estes carries a wide array of model rockets from the easiest to put together to complicated pro level series! There's a rocket for every age. You can find them on Facebook and YouTube. Be sure to check them out!
