These Look Divine!

I found these via Pinterest on The Girl Who Ate Everything. They are Cake Batter Truffles. Who doesn't like cake pops? Who doesn't like cookie dough? This is like a combination of the two. And the recipe is pretty simple. I can't wait to try this!

For the truffles--
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
3-4 Tablespoons milk
2 Tablespoons sprinkles

Truffle Coating--
16 oz almond bark or vanilla flavored coating
4 Tablespoons yellow cake mix

Beat together butter and sugar until combined. Add cake mix, flour, vanilla, and salt and mix thoroughly. Add 3 tablespoons or more of milk if needed to create a dough consistency. Mix in sprinkles by hand.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Chill balls in refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up or better, 30 minutes in the freezer.

While dough is chilling, melt almond bark in microwave in 30 second increments until melted. Stir between intervals.Once melted, quickly stir in the cake mix.

Using a fork, dip truffles in the bark and shake off excess. Place truffle back on cookie sheet and top with sprinkles. Repeat with remaining truffles. Chill in refrigerator until serving.
