Apple Pumpkin Dumpcake!


It's definitely fall around here. The nights are getting so cool and even during the day it's not horribly hot. Doodle, who is the resident expert on pumpkin, has been to Starbucks for her pumpkin spice latte. While perusing Pinterest, I found this recipe for a 4 ingredient Apple Pumpkin Dumpcake on Wine and Glue which looks to die for! This is next up on the list of things to try! Here's the recipe-

1 box yellow cake mix
1 15 oz can of pumpkin puree
1 20 oz can of apple pie filling
12 Tablespoons butter (It calls for unsalted.)

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13x9 pan with cooking spray. Spread apple filling in the bottom of the pan. Spread pumpkin over top. Sprinkle cake mix over pumpkin. Dot the top with the butter. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
