Since I did a list of some of the many uses of baking soda, I thought it was only fitting to do a list of vinegar's many uses!
Vinegar is just as versatile as baking soda. This is a powerhouse of cleaning, in many ways. From sterilizing to killing weeds, I don't think there's anything this can't do!
--Sterilize baby bottles and nipples. Wash with vinegar and warm water and rinse with hot water to get rid of the vinegar taste
--Before painting, wash down the area with vinegar to improve your paint job.
--Kill weeds with undiluted white vinegar. Spray directly on the weed.
--Pour a cup of baking soda down your drain, follow with a cup of vinegar. Let set 10 minutes. Follow with hot water to clean and deodorize your drains.
--Adding vinegar to your favorite marinade will tenderize even the toughest cuts of meat.
--Clean your toothbrushes! Soak your toothbrushes in vinegar and then rinse in hot water!
--Don't want to spend all that money on wrinkle releaser? Mix 1 part vinegar with 3 parts water and spray on the wrinkles. As it evaporates, the wrinkles will disappear!
--Scissors getting sticky? Don't wash in water; wipe down with vinegar to prevent rusting.
--Clean your coffee maker! I've used this one for years. I run undiluted white vinegar through the coffee maker. Then run plain water through at least twice. Your coffee will taste so much better!
--Mildew! If you have mildew stains in your bathroom, try undiluted vinegar first! Simply wipe down the spot with it. For light spots, dilute with some water.
--Don't want to use fabric softener? Add a cup of vinegar to your laundry. This will also help get rid of any softener build up on towels.
--Keep your flowers fresh! Did hubby just give you some gorgeous flowers? Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons sugar to the water. This will help lengthen their life!
These are just a few of the many, many uses for vinegar. But, I wanted to give you a taste of how versatile this liquid is! Always have a bottle ready!
