A Travel Review!

Springmaid Resort did not compensate me in anyway. This review is solely because I like to give my opinion and let others know about things.

I got to thinking about it and decided that I would review the resort that we stayed at in Myrtle Beach for you guys, in case you ever go! We stayed at Springmaid Resort, which if I'm not mistaken is in South Myrtle Beach. The resort was so big! We stayed in the Live Oak building, there are 2 others, Cypress and Palmetto. Each building has their own pools, which we made it to almost all of them. Our room was very clean, it was a standard hotel room. Two double beds. But, they were nice and put us on the top floor. They have other rooms also, even ones that look like small apartments! Every room has a beach view too! We couldn't keep Bubby out of the Lazy River at our building. He loved it more than the pool! They have 2 restaurants, Marlins Restaurant and the BARnacles bar and grill. We didn't make it to either of those, we had brought our own breakfast and lunch items since each room has a full size refrigerator. But Hubby and I had drinks one night from the bar and grill. I had a frozen cocktail, which right now I can not remember the name of except that it had monkey in the name since it had banana in it, but it was sooo good! The pier is really nice. It is 1060 ft and we really liked walking along it. You can rent fishing gear for about 20$ a day and that includes bait. Doodle had a lot of fun doing that. There was also a miniature golf course that you get to play all you want while you are a guest there. The beach wasn't completely packed either and was really pretty! We really enjoyed our stay there and would consider going there again! If you're thinking of going to Myrtle Beach, check this resort out!
