I received a package in the mail from a wonderful toy and candy store that had contacted me because they are coming out with a new line of products called the Blickenstaff Family Tradition Collection. This was the very pretty present inside the wonderful hand written package that had beautiful calligraphy on the front. Isn't the wrapping adorable? It also included a hand written note!
This is the High & Low Calendar (Dinner Tradition). It is a 52 week calendar that sits on the dinner table and each week helps to create engaging conversation. This is a very high quality made calendar and I love the idea of this! When the girls were little, we had the tradition of going around the table and saying what was the best and worst part of our day. Now that Hubby is travelling, it's harder to get everyone together for dinner every night, but this would be wonderful for when he is home and would help make dinners even more special!
On each page, there is this side, where you write the date at the top, each name on the left, high in the middle, low on the right. At the bottom, you write what was for dinner. Then on the back of each page, there is a conversation starter. The first page's question is "If your lie was recorded in a history book, what would you want it to say?" Then there are lines to write each person's name and their answer. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to get one of these each year, starting when your kids are little? It would be fantastic to be able to look back and see what each person said through the years. Like the cute little things they say when they are itty bitty all the way up until you have the educated responses when they are grown ups!
Go check them out on blickenstaffs.com, on Facebook, on Twitteror on Instagram! The entire line should be out later in the summer! I can't wait!
**I received this product for free in return for my 100% honest review**
I don't know about you, but I just don't have the time to go get my nails done. I also don't like the idea of spending all that money. But, yet, I like having my nails done. They're prettier that way. I like feeling pretty. What woman doesn't? I was a little skeptical about the ImPress nails. I have tried at home fake nails before and was re-gluing every other day because the glue didn't hold up to being a stay at home mom. I need nails that can make it through 2 batches of dishes. (I wash mine by hand.) These are so easy to use! They have a tab on the back that you peel off and you just press onto your nail. No glue needed! And they hold up! Mine lasted over a week. And it comes with extra tabs if they do fall off so you don't have to use glue. I always hated using the glue because I always ended up gluing my fingers together. I received a red and a pink one; the red one came with 2 …
